Jeanie Gartly has evolved 30 years of experience in heritage, urban design and planning into her passion for heritage conservation consulting. Her professional expertise is in heritage conservation and the role it plays in revitalizing downtowns and established communities.
She has been engaged, led and delivered heritage conservation projects for adaptive reuse in public, private and non-profit sectors. She has enthusiastically contributed to a variety of heritage conservation projects for the value they bring to maintaining and creating a unique “sense of place” for a city.
Jeanie has a Master’s in Architecture from Montana State University; a Master’s in Environmental Design (Planning) from the University of Calgary; a Bachelor of Architecture from Montana State University, and Certificates in Urban Design (Simon Fraser University), Industrial Heritage and Downtown Revitalization through Heritage Conservation (University of Victoria), and the National Charrette Institute (Portland).
